I’m a native of Columbia, SC. I proudly served my country in the US Army as an engineer for nine years with a tour in Iraq. Beyond my military experience and achievements, my time as an Army instructor allowed me to become more diversified in writing. I became a widow at the young age of 24. I am a member of the Gold Star Wives, where I currently serve as the vice president of the Palmetto Chapter. I have two degrees in the Criminal Justice field, and Human Resource Management. I enjoy aspiring others through my personal experiences, by means of my freestyle, affirmation, and journal writing.
